ここに皆さんに大変残念なお話をしなければなりません。

昨日深夜（5月13日）、UNITEDのリーダーでありベーシストでもある横山明裕（よこやまあきひろ）が、急逝致しました。49歳でした。
.
1983年にUNITEDに加入以降、9枚のフル・アルバムと2枚のミニ・アルバム、2枚のシングルに参加し、2011年の日本最大のメタル・フェス『LOUD PARK 11』での圧倒的なパフォーマンス等、故人の数々の輝かしい活躍ぶりは皆様もよくご存知のことかと思います。

今回のこの出来事はあまりにも突然のことであり、ご家族をはじめ、メンバーならびに関係者一同、未だ現実を受け入れることが出来る状況ではございませんが、取り急ぎ、今まで故人並びにUNITEDを力強くサポートして下さった皆様へご報告させて頂きます。また、葬儀等の詳細は決まり次第、オフィシャルHP等から発表させて頂きます。

Last night, May 13th, Akihiro Yokoyama, the leader and bass player from UNITED passed away. He was 49 years old.

Since he joined UNITED in 1983, he has participated in 9 full-length albums, 2 EP’s and 2 singles, and many may remember him from the outstanding performance at Japan’s biggest metal festival, “Loud Park 11″.

It happened totally out of the blue and it is very hard for his family, UNITED and the staff to accept it, but we wanted to share the news with everyone who has strongly supported both himself and UNITED over the years. The details of his funeral will be announced as soon as we receive the information.
